Every JFW Waterproof gate follows the same control flow — from identity check to passage — in under a second.
Step 1 — Identity verification
The face panel detects the user at 0.5 to 3 m and finishes recognition in 200 to 300 ms at 99.98% accuracy. The onboard processor runs the comparison locally, with no cloud round trip. Card or QR readers run in parallel if selected.
Step 2 — Controller signal
The ARM industrial control core sends an open signal over RS485, RS232 or IO relay. Wiegand 26/34 output is available for third-party platforms.
Step 3 — Gate movement
The brushless motor opens the gate in under 0.5 seconds and holds the passage open for the configured dwell time. Throughput reaches 50 persons per minute.
Step 4 — Safety and reset
Resistance triggers reverse braking and three-stage torque compensation. Infrared sensors re-close the gate on tailgating. On a power cut, the gate opens and the control core keeps its position.
