Every Starship 4 gate follows the same control flow — from identity check to passage — in under a second.
Step 1 — Identity verification
The face panel detects users at 0.5 to 3 m and finishes recognition in 200 to 300 ms at 99.98% accuracy. The onboard processor runs the comparison locally, and card and QR readers process credentials in parallel.
Step 2 — Controller signal
The ARM industrial control core sends an open signal over RS485, RS232 or IO relay. Wiegand 26/34 output connects to third-party platforms without custom integration.
Step 3 — Gate movement
The brushless motor opens the gate in under 0.5 seconds and holds it open for the configured dwell time. Throughput reaches 50 persons per minute in sustained flow.
Step 4 — Safety and reset
Resistance triggers reverse braking and three-stage torque compensation. Infrared sensors detect tailgating and trigger a re-close. On a power cut, the gate opens and the control core keeps its position.
